Naples, Italy

Naples is one of the most exciting cruise ports in Italy, serving as the gateway to Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast and the island of Capri. The birthplace of pizza, Naples buzzes with energy, history and some of the best food in the Mediterranean.

What to Do in a Day in Naples

From the port, you can reach Pompeii by train in about 40 minutes for an unforgettable walk through the ancient Roman city. Alternatively, stay in Naples to explore the historic centre (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), visit the Naples Archaeological Museum and eat authentic Neapolitan pizza on Via dei Tribunali. For a scenic day, take a ferry to the island of Capri or a bus along the winding Amalfi Coast road.

The tours below are not organised by the cruise lines. Bookings are made directly with GetYourGuide and you are responsible for getting back to the ship on time. If you prefer the cruise line's guarantee, contact our travel advisors after booking.
